Kurunegala Chief Magistrate Sampath Hewawasam has ordered the police to remove all posters which have been put up at famous places in support of various politicians and political parties in Kurunegala.
The order was issued by the Chief Magistrate after having taken into consideration a report submitted by OIC of the Kurunegala Criminal Investigations Department.
Mr. Hewawasam had said the posters supporting various politicians and political parties might stir up violence in the midst of the prevailing political situation in the country.
