Lung transplants from next month
Lung transplant facilities will be introduced next month in what would be a latest addition to the health sector, Health Minister Rajitha Senaratne said.
The Minister told Times Online that a special medical unit worth Rs 400 million would be constructed at the Kandy General Hospital for this purpose.
He explained that this facility would be introduced across all Base Hospitals in future.
