Mahindananda Aluthgamage remanded

United People's Freedom Alliance (UPFA) Parliamentarian Mahindananda Aluthgamage, who had been arrested by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) this morning, was remanded in custody till September 22 after being produced before the Colombo Chief Magistrate's Court. 

MP Aluthgamage had been arrested by the CID on money laundering charges.
