A wasp attack at St Anthony's Boys School in Katugastota left 128 students injured at 10 am yesterday (Jan 21).
The incident had occured when the students had aggravated a wasp hive at the scoreboard of the school grounds, police said.
Accordingly, 88 students were rushed to the Katugastota hospital out of which four were admitted for further treatment.
In addtion, six out of the total 40 students who were taken to the Kandy hospital, have also been admitted.
Katugastota police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
