The driver of parliamentarian Patali Champika Ranawaka, remanded over a motor accident, was granted bail by the Colombo Magistrate's Court today (Jan 6).
Thusitha Kumara, was released on two surety bails worth Rs 500,000 each, and was handed a travel ban by Colombo Additional Magistrate Kanchana Neranjana de Silva.
The accused was also ordered by court to appear before the Colombo Crimes Division on the last Sunday of every month.
Kumara, had surrendered before court last month, over the motor accident which had occurred in Rajagiriya in 2016.
