Six individuals have died in an accident involving a car and a lorry along the Colombo - Halwatha road earlier yesterday (Jan 20).
The accident had occured at 3:15 am in close proximity to the Nainamadama bridge, police said.
It is reported that nine individuals had been travelling in the car.
Three others who sustained injuries have been hospitalised and are recieving treatment.
