NCM against PM will fail - Champika

Minister of Megapolis and Western Development, Patali Champika Ranawaka stated that the No-Confidence Motion (NCM) against Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe will fail. 

Speaking in Parliament during the NCM debate, the Minister, who is from the Jathika Hela Urumaya (JHU), one of the coalition parties of the United National Front (UNF), further said that the Government however, cannot continue to function as it did for the past three years. 

Clear changes are needed within the Government and party structure, the Minister said, adding that this was why he presented a set of proposals outlining reforms that needed to be executed urgently.
