New DG for Bribery Commission
Additional Solicitor General, President’s Counsel Dilrukshi Wickramasinghe has been appointed as the new Director General of the Commission to Investigate allegations of Bribery or Corruption, local media reported. Minister of Justice Wijeyadasa Rajapakse was quoted by local media that cabinet approval had been obtained for this purpose. According to media reports quoting Rajapakse the previous Director General of the Commission has been transferred to the Ministry of Justice.
