The next meeting of Cabinet of Ministers is scheduled to be held on June 18 at the Presidential Secretariat.
Minister Mano Ganesan taking to his official Twitter handle confirmed the meeting.
Meanwhile the weekly Cabinet meeting, which is held on Tuesday of every week was not held this week.
Speculative reports have suggested that the meeting was not held owing to the President raising objections over the proceedings of the recent Parliamentary Select Committee probing the Easter Sunday terror attacks.
The President last week summoned an emergency Cabinet meeting to discuss the revelation of state intelligence information during the PSC proceedings.
At the meeting, the President had said he did not approve of the manner in which the PSC was conducting its hearings and if the Committee were to investigate intelligence officers he would boycott all future Cabinet meetings.
