Former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Carlton Sports Network (CSN) channel Nishantha Ranatunga has been granted bail by the Kaduwela Magistrate Court a short while ago.
He along with four other suspects including including former President’s son Yoshitha Rajapaksa were arrested on alleged financial irregularities at the Carlton Sports Network on January 30 and remanded till 11 February. Yoshitha Rajapaksa and four others were granted bail by the Kaduwela Magistrate on March 14. All of them were remanded under money laundering charges.
