A suspect has been arrested last evening (Aug 15) in connection with operating a fake document printing centre in Hingurakgoda, police said.
The arrest had been made during a raid carried out by officers attached to the Polonnaruwa Police Crimes Division.
A computer, two printers, and 86 rubber seals had also been seized at the time of the arrest.
Fake police reports, educational certificates, driving licences, marriage certificates, legal documents, timber permits, land deeds, and Grama Sevaka certificates had been printed at this centre, police noted.
