One killed while preventing father from beating daughter
An individual has been killed while attempting to prevent a father from beating his daughter in Diyatalawa yesterday (Oct 30), police said.
The victim has been identified as a 62-year old resident of Kahagolla.
Police said that the suspect involved in the killing has been taken into custody. Further investigations are underway.
