The Navy has recovered 157 kilograms of Kerala Ganja at two places in Kankesanthurai beach last night (4).
Naval personnel recovered 44kg of Kerala Ganja in one location while another 113kg of Kerala Ganja were recovered at another.
Three suspects have been taken into custody in connection with the discovery. Two mobile phones, one GPS device and three SIM cards were found in their possession. Investigations are ongoing.
Over 500kg of Kerala Ganja have been recovered at different locations in the Jaffna Peninsula during the past five days. (CK)
