Parliament adjourned till November 21 amidst ugly scenes; Speaker requests STF security for Parliament following tense situation

Parliament has been adjourned till Novemebr 21.

The adjournement came after ugly scenes inside the chamber where the Speaker came close to being assaulted by MPs loyal to Mahinda Rajapaksa.

Further, according to reports the Speaker has requested for STF security around Parliament following the tense situation that arose at today's session in Parliament.
