TMVP leader and former Eastern Provincial Councilor Sivanesadurai Chandrakanthan aka Pillayan was re-remanded, along with three others for the alleged murder of TNA parliamentarian Joseph Pararajasingam in 2005.
Batticaloa Magistrate ordered the four be held till December 28.
The three other suspects are former TMVP national coordinator and Eastern provincial councilor Edwin Silwa Krishnanantharaja, K. Kanaganayagam and Army intelligence officer M. Kaleel.
The CID arrested Pillayan in this regard in October 2015.
