President Maithripala Sirisena today said that the government's foreign policy is to continue on the path of non-allignment with cordial relations with all nations. He made these remarks at a ceremony where two ambassadors and a high commissioner presented their credentials to President Maithripala Sirisena at the Presidential Secretariat this morning. Kye Yong, Ambassador of Korea, Yi Xianliang, Ambassador of China, and Samuel Panyin Yalley, High Commissioner of Ghana assured their countries’ support to Sri Lanka at international forums, President Secretariat said. "We consider the friendship with all the nations and people is of utmost importance for our country and the people, Sri Lanka seeks cooperation of the other nations for utilization of new technology for our progress. We want investments for our industrial sector and especially for agriculture sector, which is the backbone of our economy.' president said. He made a special reference to strong relations with China and the Ambassador Xianliang assured fullest support for Sri Lanka’s development.
