The Principal of Anula Devi Balika Vidyalaya in Galle who was arrested for solicting a Rs 100,000 bribe while admitting a Grade One student has been remanded until February 20.
The remand order was issued when she was produced before the Galle Magistrates Court today (Feb 14).
Officials of the Bribery and Corruption commission arrested the teacher when she had attempted to accept the bribe from the mother of the child.
