The Parliamentary Select Committee (PSC) probing the Easter Sunday attacks is currently recording a statement from President Maithripala Sirisena.
PSC members are recording the statement from the President at the Presidential Secretariat. However, the session is not open to the media.
The President will be the last witness to testify before the PSC, which is expected to wrap up its investigation and submit its report to Parliament.
The PSC's term was further extended by Parliament this week till October 31.
