Railway strike from midnight today

Railway trade unions say they will launch an indefinite strike from midnight today (8) over several demands. 

Discussions between railway authorities and trade unions were held this morning in a last minute bid to resolve differences. 

However, unions say the talks failed and as such, they will continue their strike action as planned.
