Rainfall predicted in five provinces today : Met. Dept.
Showers or thundershowers can be expected in the Central, Sabaragamuwa, Western, Uva, and Southern provinces from 02 pm today (Jan 28).
Issuing a weather forecast, the Meteorological Department predicted that misty conditions maybe experienced in the morning hours in certain areas of the Western, Sabaragamuwa, and central provinces.
The Department also noted that the highest temperature would be recorded in the Ratnapura district today.
