Former President Mahinda Rajapksa in an official statement has said he accepts with "humility" the outcome of the recently concluded Parliamentary elections.
In addition, Rajapaksa thanked voters for their confidence in the party and that he will continue to serve the country while in Parliament to "safeguard the nation and the democractic system."
