Ranil says new UNP leaders must think about 2030

Stating that he has started cultivating a new generation of leaders for the United National Party (UNP), Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe today stated that the party will be handed over to them. He added that the party must think about 2030.  

The Premier made the statement while addressing the 72nd Anniversary celebration of the UNP today.

Speaking further at the event, Mr Wickremesinghe also took aim at the media, stating that the media cannot destroy the UNP
