Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe will pay an official visit to Japan from October 4 to 7, Ministry of Foreign Affairs said. "During his stay in Japan, the Prime Minister and his spouse will be received in audience by Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress of Japan. Prime Minister Wickremesinghe will hold a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Shinzo Abe," it said. The visit aims at further strengthening the friendly relations between Japan and Sri Lanka.
