Road closure in Modara tomorrow
The road opposite De La Salle street to Ibbagewatte junction along Aluthmawatha Road will be closed for traffic due to a water pipe laying project from tomorrow (Oct 4).
Police said that the road would be closed during the following times ;
- October 04 - 07 : 10 pm to 5 am
- October 11 - 14 : 10 pm to 5 am
- October 18 - 21 : 10 pm to 5 am
- October 25 - 28 : 10 pm to 5 am
Accordingly, police have advised motorists to use the following alternative route during the above mentioned time periods :
Enter Muthuwella Mawatha through De La Salle Street, take a right turn and enter Aluthmawatha Road again through St. Jame's Street.
