The Colombo High Court today granted bail to former United Peoples Freedom Allaince (UPFA) parliamentarian Sajin de Vass Gunawardena, who has been in custody for four months. He was released on a cash bail of Rs.1 million and two personal bails of Rs.20 million each by Colombo High Court Judge Manilal Vaidyatilaka. He was charged of misusing 23 vehicles attached to the Presidential Secretariat during previous government's tenture.
