Search operations at Aranayake called off

The army has called off its search operation to locate those still missing in the aftermath of the landslide in Aranayake. The decision to call offf the search had been taken after considering requests from the relatives of those still missing, according to the military.

A total of 24 bodies had been recovered by search teams combing through the site of the devestating landslide
