The Sri Lankan Rupee dropped to a record low of 175.35 per dollar today (Nov 01) surpassing its previous low of 174.37 yesterday.
Meanwhile, the selling rate sky-rocketed to 177.32 rupees while the buying rate stood at 173.42 rupees.
The government today granted permission for an Iranian warship with 208 on board to enter the country.
