Officials of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) are due to appear before Parliament's Committee on Public Enterprises (COPE) today (3) in response to a summons issued by the Committee.
COPE has also summoned the Nationals Savings Bank and People's Bank. Officials from these institutions will appear before COPE on September 4 and 5 respectively.
Meanwhile, officials from the Atomic Energy Authority will appear before COPE on September 6.
Parliament recently authorized media coverage of COPE proceedings to enable the public to have close scrutiny of public enterprises.
