Disciplinary action would be taken against the SLFP parliamentarians who vote in favour of the 'national government', SLFP Generaly Secretary Dayasiri Jaysekara said.
He made this remark during a press conference that was held at the SLFP party headquarters today (Feb 05).
MP Jayasekara was referring to the 'national government' proposal that was submitted to Speaker Karu Jayasuriya.
The proposal suggested an increase in the number of cabinet ministers by forming a national government.

Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa is due to vacate his official residence at Wijerama Mawatha, Colombo this morning, a Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) source said.
The Presidents’ Entitlements (Repeal) Bill was passed by a majority of 150 in parliament today. However the opposition MP’s were absent during the voting.
