Fuel distrubution: new digit based system introduced
A new system where fuel will be issued based on the last digit on the vehicle number plates has been introduced with effect from tomorrow.
Accordingly, for number plates ending in odd numbers, fuel will be issued on odd days. Those number plates ending in '0' or even numbers can obtain fuel on even days.
CPC Managing Director, Dr. Mayura Netthikumara said the system will be implemented from tomorrow.
