SLT chairman Kumarasinghe Sirisena resigns
P G Kumarasinghe Sirisena, chairman of Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT), has resigned from his post effective January 6, the Colombo stock market was informed on Tuesday.
Former Urban Development Authority (UDA) Chairman Nimal Perera, is expected to be appointed as the new SLT chairman. The outgoing Mr. Sirisena is the brother of former President Maithripala Sirisena. (BS)
