A special traffic plan will be in operation today (Monday) in Colombo owing to it being the last day to hand over nominations for the upcoming general election. According to local media report the police informed that a special transport arrangement will be in operation around the Election Secretariat on Monday. The transport arrangement will be in operation from 7.30 AM today until 3.00 PM. The traqffic plan will cover Baseline Road, Signal Light Junction on the Havelock Road up to Narahenpita Junction, Udyana Para to Elvitigala Signal lights, Nawala Junction to Baseline Road, and up to Narahenpita Junction.
