Sri Lanka has topped the list of best tourist destinations for 2019, according to guide book publisher Lonely Planet.
Other countries in the top ten include Panama, Kyrgyzstan, Jordan, Indonesia, Belarus, Sao Tome and Principe and Belize.
A Sri Lankan man was apprehended at Suvarnabhumi airport for attempting to smuggle wildlife out of the country after three ball pythons were found hidden in his underwear, the Bangkok post reported.
