A Tiruchi-bound SriLankan Airlines flight from Colombo returned home due to a heavy downpour at the Tiruchi Airport and bad weather condition in the city on Tuesday afternoon, the Hindu reported. The flight which was to arrive at Tiruchi international airport at around 2.30 p.m. but had to turn back to Colombo due to poor visibility following heavy rains in the city.
