STF destroys 42-acre cannabis plantation in Yala Reserve

News

Special Task Force (STF) personnel yesterday (Dec 26) destroyed a cannabis cultivation spanning around 42 acres in the Yala Forest Reserve.

The cannabis plants, which amounted upto more than 8500, ranged from one to six feet in height.

No suspects have been arrested so far in connection to the cultivation. Further investigations are underway.
