The Police Headquarters has decided to temporarily suspend the transfer of 72 Officer's in Charge (OICs).
The suspension was announced due to a technical issue faced while making the transfers.
Accordingly, the Police HQ has said that the suspension will be in effect for a week.
Seventy-two police OIC's were to be immediately transferred on January 04 upon the instructions of IGP Pujith Jayasundara based on the requirement of their services.
