An unidentified charred body has been discovered at a timber store in Egoda Uyana in Moratuwa at 1:50 am today (Jan 24).
The body was discovered in the vicinity of Ranvali Mawathe by the Egoda Uyana Police following a tip-off which prompted police authorities to commence investigations on discovering the body.
The victim is suspected to be of a male between the age of 30 and 35 who was clad in a black trouser.
A magisterial inquest is to be carried out today at the place in which the body was found.
EgodaUyana Police are continuing investigations into the incident.
