US Embassy and American Centre to close at noon owing to UNP protest

News

The US Embassy in Colombo said the Embassy along with the American Centre in Colombo will be closed at 12 pm today due to the planned protest by the UNP.

The embassy had notified the public regarding this decision on its Facebook page.

UNPers will take to the streets today at 1 pm to protest against the removal of Ranil Wickremesinghe from the position of Prime Minister.
