A 12-hour water cut will be imposed, from 9.00am to 9.00pm, in several areas in Colombo tomorrow, National Water Supply & Drainage Board said.
Owing to maintenance wrk at the Ambatale water treatment plant. The water cut will affect the following areas - Dehiwela, Mount Lavinia,, Kotte, Kaduwella municipality area, Maharagama,Boralasgamuwa,Kolonnawa, Kotikawatte, Mulleriyawa and Ratmalana areas.
A Sri Lanka Air Force Bell 212 helicopter belonging to the No. 72 squadron has crashed into the Madhuru Oya reservoir this morning, Air FOrce Media Spokesman Eranda Geeganage said.
Update: Five of the twelve passengers on board the bell 212 aircraft that crashed into the Maduru Oya today, have succumbed to their injuries, the SLAF said.
