National Freedom Front (NFF) leader Wimal Weerawansa was further remanded today (Feb 20) by Colombo Fort Magistrate till March 6.
MP Wimal Weerawansa was arrested for allegedly misusing 40 vehicles belonging to the State Engineering Corporation (SEC) while functioning as the Housing, Construction and Engineering Services Minister.
The final rites of veteran broadcaster, writer, and lyricist Nirmala de Alwis will be held today at Peradeniya.
