Workers protest at Colombo Port

News

Trade unions representing workers at the Colombo Port held a protest this afternoon calling on the Government to halt alleged attempts to lease a terminal at the port to a foreign company. The protestors claimed that the Government was planning to let an Indian company take over the terminal and demanded a halt to the attempt.
