Sri Lanka Women will meet West Indies Women in a three-match One Day International Series, which will begin from Saturday (15) at Sooriyawewa.
All three Women’s ODI matches will be played at Sooriyawewa, with the series set to kick off with the first ODI on Saturday (15), followed by the games on Tuesday (18) and next Friday (21).
Sri Lanka named a 16-member squad under the captaincy of Chamari Athapaththu for the WODIs beginning this Saturday.
The side includes seasoned campaigners such as young opener Vishmi Gunaratne, Harshitha Samarawickrama, Hasini Perera, Kavisha Dilhari, Achini Kulasuriya and Inoka Ranaweera.
Following the WODIs, both teams will go head on in a three-match WT20 series which will begin from June 24 at the same venue.
Both teams will meet each other on June 24, 26 and 28 in the three WT20 internationals set to be played at Sooriyawewa.
