Dinesh Chandimal and Angelo Mathews hit centuries in a practice game, played between two sides formed from the Sri Lanka squad, ahead of the West Indies tour at the CCC ground on Friday (19).
Chandimal hit an unbeaten 149 for Dasun Shanaka's XI while Mathews hit 121 for Dimuth Karunaratne's XI in the high scoring game, which was called off with five overs remaining due to bad weather.
Shanaka's XI batted first and piled up 321-5 in 50 overs and in reply Karunaratne's XI were 258-8 in 45 overs when the game was called off.
Chandimal's knock of 149 not out came in 123 deliveries inclusive of five sixes and 13 fours while Mathews faced 128 deliveries for his 121 while hitting four sixes and 11 fours.
In addition Wanindu Hasaranga scored an unbeaten 80 for Shanaka's team while Oshada Fernando hit 57 for Karunaratne's team.
