India defeated Bangladesh by 50 runs to register their second consecutive win the Super 8 stage of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. Chasing 197 runs to upset the Men in Blue, the Tigers managed 146/8 runs.
Bangladesh captain Najmul Hossain Shanto scored 40 runs off 32 but their was no contribution from the other batters. Kuldeep Yadav took three wickets.
Earlier, Hardik Pandya (50 not out), Virat Kohli (37), Rishabh Pant (36) and Shivam Dube (34) took the total to 196/5.
