Ticket counters will be kept open at the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo and Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) Headquarters at Maitland Place, from 09.00am to 05.00pm daily, for the public to purchase tickets to witness the Lanka Premier League 2021, starting from December 5, SLC said.
"Tickets will be issued on five price ranges, starting from Rs 300, 1000, 2000, 3000, and 5000. The public also can purchase tickets via online Bookmyshow.com and Daraz.lk and collect their tickets at the above mentioned ticketing counters," SLC said.
Only 50 percent of the spectators out of the maximum capacities of the R. Premadasa ICS in Colombo and at Sooriyawewa, Hambantota, where the LPL matches will be played, will be allowed to enter the ground to witness the games.
However, only those who are fully vaccinated against the Covid-19 infection as per the current vaccination protocols will be permitted entry to the ground.
"Spectators should carry the proof of vaccination, either the card or in digital form, and should have completed the second vaccination at least 14 days prior to entering the ground."
"The public who have purchased tickets for the opening game on December 5 will be permitted entry to the ground, starting from 04.00pm, in order to witness the spectacular opening ceremony, which will commence at 6.00pm."
