Protest in front of Cricket Board
A small group of people protested against Sri Lanka Cricket’s alleged misappropriation of funds during the T20 World Cup in Australia last year.
A leaked draft of the special audit on SLC’s expenditure during the tournament has highlighted many financial and procedural irregularities.
Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MP Hesha Withanage filed a complaint with the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) against the alleged financial malpractices this week.
