The second leg of the rugby encounter between CH&FC and Air Force, played for the Sri Lanka Air Force Commander's Cup, has been postponed indefinitely.
The match was to be played on Friday (20) at the Air Force Base in Ratmalana, but the organisers have decided to put off the game to a future date, to avoid undue risks currently being created by the COVID-19 pandemic.
A lockdown is currently in affect in Sri Lanka from Friday (20) until August 30, for 10 days and the organisers of the encounter will assess on the possibilities of conducting the postponed game after the situation of the country returns to normalcy.
The first leg of the game was played on August 13 at the Maligapitiya ground in Kurunegala and CH&FC recorded a narrow 23-21 win against Air Force to earn a 2-point advantage prior to the second leg.
