Sports Diary for this week - April 24-30

The much anticipated Schools Rugby Season will kick off on Friday (25) with the U-19 Knockout Championship, set to begin with the pre-quarter-final stage, with two matches each on Friday and Sunday (27) and four games on Saturday (26).

The final of the SLC National Super League 4-day tournament between Dambulla and Galle will get underway from Sunday (27) at the SSC ground in Colombo.

Two international cricket tournaments will begin in Sri Lanka with Bangladesh Under-19s Tour beginning on Saturday (26) with the Youth ODI Series at Sooriyawewa, and the Women’s Tri-Nation Series involving Sri Lanka, India and South Africa, beginning on Sunday (27) at the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium.
