Sports Diary for this week - August 21-27
Despite the conclusion of the Dialog Schools Rugby League Championship 2025, school rugby continues with traditional matches with two of them slotted to take place this weekend.
The highlight among the two will be the first leg of the 79th Bradby Shield between hosts Trinity College and Royal College set to take place at Pallekele on Saturday (23), while the tradition match between St. Anthony’s College vs S. Thomas’ College, played for the Rev. Fr. Rosatti Trophy will be played on Sunday (24) under lights at the CR&FC ground.
The SLC U-23 Emerging Club Championship continues this week as well alongside the SLC Under-17 Youth League 2025.
The 111th Sri Lanka National Tennis Championship continues at Greenpath as well, and will end on Sunday (24).
