Sports Diary for this week - December 4-10
After the opening week of the Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) Major League Tournament and the SLC Invitational Tier ‘B’ 3-Day Tournament for 2025/26 was postponed last weekend due to the cyclonic weather condition, both competitions will officially begin this week with a combined card of 12 matches over the weekend.
The SLR-Maliban Club Rugby League 2025/26 and the FSL Champions League 2025 football tournament have been postponed by a week following the cyclone and flooding that affected almost the entire country last week. Both Sri Lanka Rugby and Football Sri Lanka confirmed that both tournaments will resume next weekend.
